Dehydrated mixed silage is produced by harvesting whole corn grains, leaves, and stems and mixing them with alfalfa hay after fermentation, which increases digestibility and availability of product fed to the livestock. Alfalfa hay is added to the mixture to supplement with protein and increase nutritional value. The product is dehydrated and pressed into bales for efficient transportation and storage.
